Who is Residency Week for?

Seattle ACAP’s summer Residency Week program is for sophomores, juniors and seniors enrolled in high school throughout the Greater Seattle/Tacoma areas.

Program Overview

Students are immersed in the college experience as they stay overnight at the University of Washington for a week, utilizing student services and classroom facilities as well as learning how to budget and manage interactively in a college environment. Residency week will introduce students to the accounting profession through educational seminars, off campus tours of accounting firms, and a rigorous group business case competition. Other development events include but are not limited to mock interview practice, resume building, college preparation seminars, and networking sessions. Events throughout the week are led by professionals within accounting, University of Washington faculty, ACAP counselors, and ACAP alumni.
